What happens after I complete the Colorado 811 Exactix Ticketing System Training?

  1. Complete the Training Certification Form: After finishing your training (live, virtual, or on-demand), you’ll be asked to fill out a short form to certify that you’ve completed the training. 
  2. Take the Competency Exam: If you are a current Web Ticket Entry user, you will receive an email with the Colorado 811 Web Ticket Entry Competency Exam. Check your inbox, and if you don’t see it, look in your junk or spam folders. Didn’t receive the competency exam? Please contact Online Services.
  3. Receive Registration Email from Exactix: Once you pass the competency exam, Exactix will send you a registration email. Again, be sure to check your junk or spam folders if you don’t see it right away. 
  4. Register and Access the Test Environment: Use the link in the registration email to create your Exactix account with a new email and password. You’ll then gain access to the Exactix test environment, where you can practice using the new system and submit test locate requests (these are not live requests and won’t notify utilities). 
  5. Prepare for the Official Go-Live: The Exactix test environment will be available until the official transition, which is planned for late November. When the system goes live, you’ll be able to submit actual locate requests through Exactix.

Important: Make sure to use the same email address for training registration, the certification form, and your current Norfield platform login. Using a different email may delay your access to Exactix. If you experience any issues with the training registration process, please contact our Online Services team for assistance.
