How to Check Positive Response

You can view Positive Responses using either one of two available methods: 

1) You can check Positive Response with or without an account, on a computer or with your phone. Visit https://exactix.colorado811.org/findTicketByNumberAndPhone. If you do not have an account, you will need to use theprimary phone number associated with the ticket and the ticket number to access Positive Response information.   

2) You can also check Positive Response for your tickets collectively with an Exactix Account. See instructions below. 


Sign up for an Account to Process Single Address Tickets and View Positive Response Only 

  1.  Visit https://exactix.colorado811.org/  
  2. Create an account by clicking on the “No Account? Sign up.” link 
  3. Follow the self-registration instructions 

Upgrade to an Excavator-Standard Account to Submit Additional Ticket Types and View Positive Response (Training Required) 

  1. Free online training is available in the Colorado 811 Virtual Training Hub  
  2. Sign up for an Excavator – Colorado Exactix Ticketing System Training Class (3.5 hours) 
  3. Demonstrate your Understanding: Take the Exam 
  4. Register and log in to your Colorado 811 Exactix Ticketing System Account  


 

If you have an Exactix account, follow these steps to check Positive Response: 

  1. Log into your Exactix account:
    1. Select the word “Tickets” on the left side of the page to take you to a dashboard.
    2. On the left side of the dashboard, click “Response Status” to display tickets you have created within the past 60 days.
    3. Click on the three vertical dots (aka an Ellipsis) on the left side of each ticket record to reveal a menu.
    4. Click “View Responses” to see a list of the underground facility owner/operator members who must respond to your locate request ticket. Responses posted by the underground facility owner/operator members will appear in white.
    5. It is important to remember that responses received as marks on site, by email, or by telephone might not have been posted in the Exactix system. For your convenience, you can use the “Add Comments” button at the bottom of the screen to document what types of responses you received or conversations you had with any of the underground facility owners/operators listed. Comments are only visible by you.

If you or your organization is listed on the locate ticket, then you will be able to see positive responses for the locate ticket.
