Will there be any changes to existing ticket types?

The only ticket type to experience a change in Phase 1 is the Emergency Ticket.  The "due date"—also known as the "locate by date," which is the deadline for utilities to respond and mark the emergency ticket—will now align with industry best practices and standards. 

  • During business hours: Emergency tickets are due within one hour from the time the ticket is processed. 
  • During after hours: Emergency tickets are due within two hours from the time the ticket is processed. 

These changes ensure a faster and more predictable response for emergency situations. All other ticket types remain the same.
