Why is Colorado 811 discontinuing Multi-Tix and Multi-Day ticket procedures, and will there be replacements?

Colorado 811 is retiring the Multi-Tix and Multi-Day ticket procedures due to system limitations and the need for greater efficiency. These processes often led to duplicate tickets and repeated work for both excavators and utility owners, which was inefficient given current resource constraints. Instead, Colorado 811 encourages advanced planning and the use of joint meet tickets to coordinate large or complex excavation projects. At this time, there are no direct replacements, but Colorado 811 will continue evaluating options for future improvements as the system evolves.
