What Are the Updated Character Limits in the Ticket Entry Form?

The Colorado 811 ticket entry form now allows more characters in key fields so users can give clearer, more complete information. "Who the work is being done for" and "Type of work" each have a limit of 80 characters, while "Locate Instructions" (previously "Locate Description") allows up to 2,000 characters.
