What are the requirements for supporting documentation and automatic Positive Response Renotifications starting January 29, 2026?
Starting January 29, 2026, Colorado 811 (CO811) will require Facility Owner/Operator Members to upload supporting documentation as part of their Positive Response. If a file attachment is not provided, the system will send automatic Positive Response Renotifications daily for up to 30 days, or until the required documentation is uploaded—whichever comes first. Please note, a Positive Response is not considered complete until a file attachment is submitted.

- 025 – Locate Not Completed without Excavator Agreement
Attachments are also not required for the following ticket types:
- Damage
- Emergency
- Cancel
- Automatic Positive Response Renotification ticket deliveries and associated charges will begin January 29, 2026, if no file attachment is provided as required.
